Since January 2020, we have been working in partnership with the in-house team at Greenlam, India’s largest manufacturer of laminates and panel products (and one of the world’s top three surfacing solutions brands), to revamp their washroom cubilce ranges and complementary products such as lockers. We designed three completely new systems, addressing different market segments, together with new signature hardware used across all their ranges.

We were thrilled to take part in their spectacular launch events in Delhi, Bengaluru and Mumbai and to be on stage, giving a 15-minute potted history of the modern washroom and the factors that have driven change, from a design perspective.

One of the trends we commented on is greater privacy for the user and how this can be achieved efficiently and reliably with factory-made systems rather than with bricks and mortar on site – the usual way of building floor-to-ceiling cubicles in India. The full-height Maxim range, one of the new products we designed and engineered, pushes the boundaries for laminate cubicles.
